bioinformatics genomics web app

A browser-native genomic viewer for sequences, alignments, phylogenetic trees and matrices — everything runs client-side, so data never leaves the user's machine.

  • Six viewers in one workspace: sequence/GenBank, alignment, tree, matrix, Sanger and variants/BLAST
  • iTOL-style phylogenetic trees (NJ, UPGMA, MST, GoeBURST) with metadata coloring and pie-node grouping
  • Fully client-side parsing and canvas rendering — no uploads, multi-document tabs, instant load

I like making complicated things a little simpler.

I specialize in pathogen detection — working with genomic data where accuracy and scale genuinely matter. Somewhere along the way I fell for the web and for programming: the craft of taking a messy, complicated problem and shaping it into something clean that simply works.

What I enjoy most is finding the simple solution — the one that actually helps people solve a real problem or move their project forward. A genomics pipeline or a polished web app, it's the same goal every time: build something genuinely useful, without the friction.
